Big Give Will Resume 6am on 5.4.16

Big Give SA Update We're absolutely devastated by the technological issues that the entire Give Local nationwide event is experiencing. Our primary goal is to make sure that our charities and our donors can connect in a way that is safe, secure and equitable for everyone who wants to participate. We hope to resume the event beginning at 6 a.m. tomorrow (May 4) through 8 p.m. tomorrow night.  We are making decisions right now about how we will reallocate the prize money for our nonprofits. There are still many details that need to be worked out, that we will announce no later than 5 a.m. tomorrow morning.  The website will still be live and accepting donations tonight, but realize if you or your donors are giving tonight, you may experience issues and the leader board totals will not reflect the true totals that are donated. Additionally, prizes will not be awarded between now and 6 a.m. Any donations that are made through the site  will receive an automatic email confirmation that will indicate that the transaction was successful. This is how you will know that your donation was credited to your organization of choice. We are allowing the technology company to run tests on our systems tonight, in hopes that the event will take place again tomorrow from 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. We will continue to update you by email and social media as we determine the prize pool, and any other updates you need for a successful EXTRA day of giving!   The Big Give S.A. The Arc of the Hill Country's April event is our BOOK SALE at KidsFest, April 16, 2016!!

Hello everyone!

This Saturday April 16th is KidsFest at the Comal County Fairgrounds!!   Rain or shine!  So we are praying for the shine!! This will be a fun day for the whole family so come on out and have a great day!! We will be unloading our trailer at 7am!!!   And could sure use some help from some of you early rising guys!! We have to unload and set up within the 2 hours before the gates open at  9am and want to be ready for the crowds at 9am.   Just show up and help out then check out all the booths and activities there.   We hope to be there until  6pm when the gates close and then the rains can come!!  If you are there at closing, we could sure use help closing up. Come support The Arc of the Hill Country and get some great books and a fun family day!!

May 21st is our next dance and we would like to host a prom!!   What fun we can have!    Let us know who the graduating Seniors

are and help us make a wonderful prom night for all!!    Updates to come and update us on the seniors please!!

The Arc of the Hill Country's Easter Hop is this Saturday, March, 19, 2016!!

Happy Easter Everyone!!

This Saturday, March 19th,   The Arc of the Hill Country is having an Easter Egg Hunt & Hop and we hope you will be there!

Bring your basket and get ready for an egg  hunt!!    We'll have some crafts to do,  raffles, dancing and  good ole fried chicken!

If you can bring something to share, either a side dish or a desert, we'll be sure to have enough for everyone!
